Russell Sparke was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a lawyer in 1990 after obtaining his Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland Institute of Technology.

Following admission he gained extensive experience in litigation, commercial and property law working for two of Brisbane’s oldest and most respected law firms. He then worked as in-house counsel for one of Australia’s most successful franchise Companies during a phase of rapid expansion where the company grew from little more than a dozen stores to more than 70 stores nationwide. During this time he gained invaluable business experience overseeing operations throughout Australia.

Mr Sparke then started his own successful property development company which has developed numerous residential projects in Queensland comprising subdivisions, houses and townhouses as well as joint ventures involving medium and high density residential developments in some of Brisbane’s most upmarket suburbs. Mr Sparke has also successfully acted as a property development consultant on many development projects in Queensland and one in New South Wales involving both medium and high density residential developments.

Mr Sparke has over fifteen years of experience in law and all aspects of property development from feasibility and site acquisition, design and approval, sales and marketing, finance, tendering, construction and contract administration through to project completion and settlement of final sales.
